crappy attitude

i have a crappy attitude about school. while i have found ways to entertain myself on endless thursday nights (namely, surfing the web and talking to EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THE UNIVERSE), i still can't get over the fact that ... THIS. IS. CRAP.

the second half of the semester is nothing but presentations. it'd be one thing if i thought the presentations were worth while. but when they take up like 5 of the 16 weeks in the semester -- to me that just screams "MUST. FILL. UP. TIME." and if the topics were worthwhile to research, it would be something. but when they scream "TEACH. THE. CLASS. FOR. ME." i die a little inside. and if this is really effing graduate school, then why the hell are we doing book reports and movie reviews?

i want to swear.
