summertime musings

1. very happy about the foodbox.  had the BEST blueberries i've ever had.  wish i had more already.

2. really happy we're NOT getting a foodbox next week, since it looks almost exactly like the one we have this week.  how many 1.5 lb bags of summer squash and green beans can one eat?  and ... what the hell is a torpedo onion REALLY?

3. hideyo got me to set up my iGoogle.  the problem is, i've been surreptitiously playing (and sucking at) frogger when he's not home.

4. so very glad the weather's been so accomodating.  it makes the house "renovating" i've been doing so much less hateful.

5. the spice girls are having a reunion!  i know people hate on them all the time, but they are SO MUCH FUN.  if you behave scathingly toward them because of their lack of musicianship, then you are completely missing the point.  i wonder if honey will let me attend one of their reunion concerts.  i know all their songs AND i've seen the movie, and it's hysterical. i defy you to contradict me.  (my defensiveness may be communicating something here.)
