*so glad*

we are returned from sd, from probably one of the funnest weddings i've been to in a long time. i of course do not have any pictures, and leave it to jaz or kachiu to post some good stuff, but it was soooo quirky (ben's vows: "i promise to give you all my possessions ... except my comic books," tammy and le-o ta-o, the original leather-wearing cowboys, and the gundam wing figurines for favors) and fun and full of love and good feeling.

i couldn't be happier for b.e.t., my 5th grade four-square adversary, my 8th grade "enemy," my college friend, and finally, now my life-long brother and his lovely wife bonita. if there really is mfeo -- that's them. the deadly doctor-lawyer combination. the girl that supports her guy's freaky eating/potty proclivities and goes with him to comicon, of all things. the guy that loves and protects his girl and always says sorry ... even if he doesn't know what the hell he's saying sorry for. they're going to be great together, and i hope they come home soon.

congrats to the new taos. lifelong fun and happiness.
