so depressing

1. i check my school email on a sunday (heaven knows why) and i get two demanding parent emails and one telling me that the teacher's union is "closing its doors" during lunch on tuesday. whatever that means.

2. conflicting information from the district and the teacher's union about our financial situation. i came into teaching BECAUSE i like structure. this sort of chaos is not my scene.

3. hideyo is leaving for a week to malaysia on friday, but he's going to be gone most of this week because of class and meetings. sad sad me. less time

4. it's the end of the grading period and i'm not ready. AND i'm leaving school early on thursday to go down to san diego. will i make it? i have notebooks AND tests to grade. and i'm going to be in san diego.
