hee haws from my mama-in-law

so heeday blogged about this too, but it's so funny i have to also. heeday's mom called us last night (weird learning to call someone else mama) just to check in and make sure we're not dead.** and this is how the conversation goes between them:

m: how are you two?
h: we're doing fine.
m: have you fought yet?
h: oh yeah, we have.
m: oh-h. but are you still hot? are you still a hot couple?
h: yes we are.

who but my mama-in-law would ask us if we're a hot couple? ahahahahaha.

** for the marrieds: any suggestions on how often to call one's in-law and how often to interact with one's in-laws greatly appreciated.
