oof. i am tired today. i think last night, i may have glimpsed into my future life as a pw. hideyo came home from preaching class and we talked about what happened, what he thought of the message, etc. etc. until way too late. this could be our future sunday afternoon activity for a long time.

that aside, i have taught myself to make baby booties. they can't possible take that long right? i mean, they are for tiny people. it was tricky, learning how to set a heel, and all the bizarre knitting directions i couldn't understand. k1, w1, sl1 pwise, skp2, k54. or whatever it was. it's like staring at a totally different language. but i finished a model. it's big enough for a small dog, but it's pretty damn cute. babies of the world -- watch out. i'm coming for you.

this past weekend, hideyo and i went to a wedding in sac. farthest place on earth. seriously. but i realized -- this is us, kicking of the 2006 wedding season and it is buuuuuuuusy. i think we have like 8-9 already, and that's only the ones we know about. yikes.

i found out one of my kids is a pk. db. he is the sweetest thing in the world. so cute and so bright. exactly the kind of kid i would've had a crush on in high school. but i found out his dad planted a vineyard church in san carlos. when i found out, i told him "db! you're a pk? i'm going to make those some day.!" and his face turned red. i wonder why. ahahaha.

hideyo's family and my family had chinese new year dinner on saturday. the satakes are good sports. the next day, hide's parents went to sf chinatown to learn what it means to be chinese. they got dimsum. they said my momma's food was better. booyah.

it's still not friday yet huh?
