guilty pleasure

so i haven't watched the bachelor in ages -- it was always karena's thing that i watched with her sometimes. and they were always fairly humorous ... some very overeager singles looking for love. anyone remember mary? dude, she freaked me out. and i will always be partial to meredith the bachelorette, and ryan who finally wooed and won trista, even though perhaps her chirpyness will grate in about ten years' time.

but dude. last night? the finale for the bachelor paris finale? i was disaPPOINTED. i haven't watched at all, so i don't know anything about either woman, but a) i can't believe they're both my age and b) i can't believe travis picked sarah. she seems a nice enough girl, but shut your pie hole already, woman! she could not stop babbling the ENTIRE time. she was way too aggressive and plastic for me. she reminded me of a candidate for ms. texas.

on the other hand, i know people were hating on moana the whole time, and her whole teary-faced "his soul reflects my soul" speech was bordering on ridiculous, BUT. she's a hottie. she has awesome hair. she cooks wickedly. she was honest and realistic about her expectations for the show. she spoke her mind and was reserved enough to not let it all hang out in front of the camera like sarah did. hell, travis's niece whitney picked moana and he made a mistake not to pick her. he went safe.

the worst part was at the end when she was driving away in the limo, and she was going on and on about how the nice girl always win and how guys like travis don't pick girls like her. she seemed genuinely crushed and i really hope that she bounces back, because dude, i feel for her. seriously.

and, it makes me happier that heeday picked me, and didn't have to go on some show to snog a thousand women to find me. lucky me.
