riding the honeymoon wave
i really like being married. i like seeing my team's face every day.
i think the sweetest part of my day is first thing in the morning. i invariably wake up earlier than heeday and he always says and does the nicest things unconsciously. after stealing the blanket all night, he'll tuck the blanket around me in the morning and not remember doing it. before i leave for school in the morning, i always go back in and kiss him goodbye, and he always smiles and hugs me back and tells me to have a good day ... and doesn't remember doing it. this morning, he reminded me not to forget my lunch he packed for me in a brown paper bag (complete with love note) ... and he will probably not remember it.
don't we want to make you throw up in your mouth?
to celebrate my day off, we had our first family day yesterday. who knows how that's going to shape up in the long run, but we just spent the day together doing stupid stuff (costco run -- thanks dean, returning gifts to macy's -- ick) but it makes me so happy that we get to do it together. i get to benefit from his growing bartending abilities (he makes delicious strawberry daiquiris) and it's nice that he doesn't get annoyed when i interrupt his nerd-reading in bed to show him the baby bunny hat i want to knit out of my new knitting book.
married is good. *happy girl*
