i take it back
okay. i take it back. chris tomlin was GREAT. it was a little overwhelming at first, with the ONE ZILLION ASIANS there (like seriously every good TACKS kid in the bay area -- i saw people from EVERY stage and place in my life), and the light shows and weird backgrounds on lcd projector, but it was great. chris tomlin was very humorous, and his band was great, and it was totally unexpected for me to meet the Lord there. it was nice getting to worship with three of my best friends (a rarity, in that combination) and it was just unexpected to meet Him and find quiet in a room of 1800.
i also didn't know that matt redman was on tour with him, as well as louie giglio. it was like being in a room full of famous christian people. matt redman led a few songs of the oldschool variety, including my FAVORITE (blessed be your name) and he's great live. chris too. and louie's message was good. simple and heartfelt. all in all, an evening well spent i think. i will say this too: matt and chris are really little. i had no idea. they alwys look so big on the cd covers.
sorries to dchai -- if i'd known you wanted to go, i probably would've given you both my tickets too.
