on top of this, i've had the opportunity to check out some friends' wedding dresses of late, and they are way beadier than mine. just an observation.

as well, congratumalations to wendy and aiden, the newest members of the engagement bandwagon. h and i need not have feared to be newest members forever. for sure not.

man, the honeymoon period of school is SO OVER. i think my new class may actually do less homework than the last one, and that's saying quite a bit. the word from the middle school is that this is the worst class they've graduated like since ... EVER. fabulous. i don't think they are ... certainly they are undisciplined, but i've found that my 9th-grade-patience-mechanism has switched on and honestly, it's just not worth getting mad at ninth graders. just not. but it's certainly exhausting every day, trying to figure out with to do with them and keep them amused for long enough and having copious hours of meeting with the dean and our administrator, trying to keep them in line.
