so i learned something about macy's yesterday: each store has its own sales. the online store is like a separate store. so my excitement that the plates we love are 50% off at the valley fair store doesn't really mean anything, because they're not on sale online. and our plates won't be on sale forever, because the sale ends august 1.

i don't get it. if something can be 50% off, why isn't it 50% off all the time? once clothes go on sale, they stay on sale. how can i justify buying plates for $27 apiece when i could've purchased them for $13.50? the asian inside rebels. grr.

in other news: pray for kachiu's knee. she is going back under the knife, poor girl. this means that she will be puking her guts out when she gets back from the hospital. poor girl. :(
