looooong weekend

friday fun: ltg bbq. ribs and steak and lots of newcastle. great company, and pyong was a trooper, with questions being fired at him from the peanut gallery like crazy.

saturday fun: shopping with my sister. a bust at anthropologie again. (how can $90 pants constitute a sale??) birthday dinner with my family at east ocean restaurant in emeryville. dude -- worth every frigging penny. the curried crab w/ vermicelli claypot is to DIE FOR.

sunday fun: church! making biscotti (very stressful). and ... chill evening in concord at heedays' uncle bob's house. nicest people in the world. excellent food AND company, with fireworks to boot. satake's are very relaxed people. don't know how my team turned out so fiery.

monday fun: batman begins. christian bale is NOT another sorry josh hartnett or other sad b-list pretty faces. and ... finally ... met the bulk of hideyo's high school friends. at last. i don't know how he's gotten away with that for a year ... but an interesting bunch they are. i like k. he's supernice. everyone else was very cordial as well, replete with the potty language.

and now ... tuesday fun: going to the teacher warehouse store. RAFT. to all our baylight moms -- should you ever need any little children art supplies, you just let me know. supposedly, they have AWESOME cheap stuff.
