more love letters

"The two last year have been wonderful, and we know we wrote you letters and said good-bye but we realized today that we are losing the best teacher we ever had. You make us feel wonderful about ourselfs, you made us believe in ourselves, and we know we can come by and see you anytime we want to, but we want to say we love you and that we will miss you so so much. You are the best Ms.Chiu. Come by summer school and visit us over the summer. Love ya, K and Y"

i hope it doesn't sound like i'm tootin' my own horn, because i only recognize my shortcomings all too well as an educator. i'm impatient and given to shouting and i SO play favorites ... it's awful. i'm just feeling pretty loved right now. is it possible that i could have made a difference in a few kids' lives? all evidence points to yes, but i know better. it's the Lord's grace on my life ... and i hope that i've been able to share it some with my babies.
