preliminary reflections on st. louis

1. damn. awesome livin' it up with berry and her folks. congrats dr. jean!
2. the red hat ladies club. www.redhatsociety.com so freaking awesome.
3. you can buy fresh oppossum at the farmer's market!
4. you can buy sour cream and onion chittlins at the farmer's market!
5. mullets haven't come back in fashion, folks ... they never went out of fashion.
6. everyone here is a friggin' amazonian (six foot plus women) or short and hugely overweight.
7. the arch: gd. let me keep my feet on the ground. no offense to the civil engineers.
8. "white t." mullets, leathery skin, teal eye liner, nylon fingernails, and budweiser guzzling at 11 am.
9. a black family asked me to take a picture with them. i guess they've never seen an asian person before.
10. how the hell do tilapia filets only cost $1 apiece? there isn't any ocean for a thousand miles in any direction.
