i hope people don't think i'm horrible mean in my last post. if ben puts up the silent-arm-protest, then i SUPERsure that i'm doing the right thing. i guess ... it's just been tough, fighting the honors battle for the last two years. first it's "you're making it too hard!" and then it's "you're dumbing down the curriculum! my child is the future leader of america ... s/he should not share space with the plebians!" and now it's not only gone back to being too hard, but i should also adjust my grading accordingly so that everyone gets a's? or at least the honors kids should? i don't know. is it so much to ask for -- for a kid to think a little? just a little.

*downshift*
so ... i have beef with razor makers. why is it that women's razors are flipping expensive and honestly don't work that well? is it the baby blue color that costs more? the sparkles in the handle? the endless "goddess" commercials? i was at target the other day, buying a new powder blue, sparkly razor, when the girl next to me was like "dude, don't do it. get a mach 3 turbo. i guarentee it is the best damn shave in the world." i'm a little perturbed at getting this very mannish looking razor, but what the heck. i bring it home, and it is true, ladies. it gave the best damn shave ever. and i didn't nick myself, not once. and being the hairy beast that i am, it didn't give me five o'clock shadow today. so the moral of the story -- some boy products okay and better than girl products. this includes razors and sports socks.
