congratumalations to the illustrious jason and anne! my kids are never going to want to play with your kids, on account of your kids being ridiculously brilliant and well-informed and conscientious members of society, and mine just being the grubby dirt eaters i know i'm probably going to raise.

sad to be back in the windy norcal ... but glad to have spent time with my hotsister and my team and old crusade friends. the best thing i saw all weekend (outside of precious baby kira and all the wedding fun) was a bumper sticker at hideyo's school: "Jesus loves you. Everyone else thinks you're a jerk."
