okay, when you post three times in a day ... it means that a) you're bored or b) you're avoiding work. for me -- both, since work bores me.
and all of a sudden, with a piece of sherry cake inside me, i have a hankering for christmas music. i've discovered that i really like christmas music, especially since christmas has particularly endeared itself to me this past year.
here's my frustration: i don't own any christmas music. and i am fussy about christmas music. it's more a particular rendition of a song that i love rather than the song itself. so i'm building myself a playlist of my favorite pieces. but i don't really know what i like! jazzy stuff, rat pack, older music ... not jessica simpson or jaci velasquez singing, God help us ... and i also really like secular holiday music. there's a special place in my heart for angels heralding and mangers, but there's nothing like a little hot-chocolate-with-my ice-skates music.
so here is my plea: song suggestions! this is what i have so far:
1. baby, it's cold outside (buddy clark/dinah shore)
2. mele kalikimaka (?)
where's my rat pack? where's my ella?
help!
