baltimore.
not nearly as ghetto fabulous as i recall it being five years ago. their city planners have been busy. kyle boller has been keeping the ravens firmly entrenched in ravenstown, and now there are trees. shocking.
it was good to be there. new england/mid-atlantic/southern states definitely have the fall thing DOWN. it's beautiful, with all the trees (and the bugs in hiding) turning all sorts of colors. it was like seeing lots of pink lady apples and red bartlett pears everywhere. the weather was crisp, but not too too cold (yet) and then there is the company of old friends.
shoutout to hooters for coming in from dc -- it was great to see her sassy self and eat good food.
shoutouts to ev and o, for their hospitality and their company and reminding me why old friends make the best friends. *kiss* *kiss* for each of you. i hope the apple pie and beer water are keeping you occupied. kick ass on your finals/papers.
and shoutouts to johns hopkins. for being the freaking most secure campus on the planet. and having a public health building that is freaking awesome and makes stanford look very schleppy.
and now ... onward. back to the grind and the crazy children.
