just came back from des and ashley's "see you in six months" party. a few thoughts on the event:

1. cafe borrone, while enormously tasty, is three bucks overpriced on everything on their menu.

2. des is a pretty amazing lady. i really admire her grit. good luck des -- we'll be praying for you.

3. ashley has the sweetest heart. she'll play with anyone and she has the sunniest smile. everett and elaney can be stingy with their smiles if i misname the fish, and stewart the wall-crawler is too busy beating on dr. octopus right now to smile, but ashley always has a smile for everyone.

4. cindy has the prettiest smile and the most generous spirit.

5. dave is great. excellent at sharing and thoughtfulness. good times.

6. sinclair, the other food guy in my small group, is an unsung treasure. he's quite hilarious and his canadian-ness is rad! ask him to say pasta for you.

7. some day, jieun will convert me into a true asian-american.

8. only with people from church can you teach each other to say "do you have diarrhea?" in each other's languages. why? who knows.

9. sausage sandwiches rock.

10. i love my church. thank you Lord.
