hooray to the giants and awesome beautiful days at pac bell park! many thanks to jaz, ev, cowboy, and hideyo for a day of fun.

okay ... final cruisin' cd lists. i says LISTS b/c i realize there are two fairly distinct lists that materialized. one is the cruisin' list (and yes des, i'd be GLAD to provide you with a copy!) and one is the cruisin' list LITE, as zach osofsky would say.

cruisin' aka alinna's louder music:

Ride Wit Me (Nelly)
All She Wants to Do Is Dance (Don Henley)
Higher Ground (Red Hot Chili Peppers)
You're Unbelievable (EMF)
Good Day (Luce)
My Brain is Hanging Upside Down (The Ramones)
Miss Independent (Kelly Clarkson)
Crazy In Love (Beyonce)
Canned Heat (Jamiroquai)
I Want You (Thalia & Fat Joe)
One Way or Another (Blondie)
Let Me Blow Ya Mind (Eve and Gwen Stefani)
I Love Rock and Roll (Joan Jett)
Starry Eyed Surprise (Paul Oakenfold)
Criminal (Fiona Apple)
Welcome to the Jungle (Guns N' Roses)
Ignition Remix (R. Kelly)
Toxic (Britney Spears)
Rollin' (Limp Bizkit)
Immigrant Song (Led Zeppelin)

some of you may roll your eyes ... yes, there is some unforgiveably pop-y stuff on here, but i like fiona, damn it, and no one will convince me otherwise. also, dmx and the ruff ryder anthem did not make the final cut, due to excessive use of the n word and prolific use of the f-bomb.

cruisin' lite: potty language free

cruisin' (huey lewis/gywneth paltrow)
don't know why (norah jones)
don't dream it's over (crowded house)
big yellow taxi (counting crows and vanessa i suck carlton)
son of a preacher man (dusty springfield)
why can't i (liz phair)
one fine day (natalie merchant)
drift away (dobie gray)
sittin' on the dock of the bay (otis redding)
dancing in the moonlight (van morrison)
you and i both (jason mraz)
where is the love? (black eyed peas)
in this life (chantel kreviazuk)
kiss me (sixpence none the richer)
no such thing (john mayer)
brown-eyed girl (van morrison)
sweet home alabama (lynard skynard)
this love (maroon 5)
just the two of us (bill withers0
wonderful tonight (eric clapton)
soak up the sun (sheryl crowe)

i know, i know, i left a lot of good boy bands off. i just wasn't feeling it. notice that "total eclipse of the heart" of the famous high school version is also off the list. next cruisin' cd perhaps.

hooray! fun times!
