while i am not ready to entirely recant my last post, i'd like to add an amendment.

after school today, we had an end-of-the-year party. the leadership institute in my house put it together. they had a whole luau theme with decorations and snacks, and played games like limbo and when that got old, they played "how high can you jump OVER the stick" -- to the serious detriment of our young gentlemen who will now never be able to have children.

it was cute to see them playing together and bopping each other furiously with inflatable palm trees. they also had huge posters. one was for kids to write down memories from the year, and the other was on advice for next year's freshmen. a few highlights, in no particular order:

1. remember when seung said "i can't eat cookies; they give me herpes"?
2. don't ask mr. dunn questions unless you have at least 20 minutes to spare.
3. remember when i drank five cups of hot sauce?
4. don't make miss chiu cry -- it's not pretty to see.
5. distract mr. dunn with off-topic questions because you'll waste a lot of time and it works every time.
6. remember when we taped mrs. sanchez to a chair with blue tape?
7. miss chiu is my baby boo.

i think number one is the best. that kid grew up with his head in his butt.
