observations about my time in la:
1. it's like entering purgatory.
2. it doesn't take that long to get there, but it takes forever to get through there.
3. redondo beach is nice.
4. wait an extra 3 seconds before proceeding through an intersection -- this gives the last freak car time to run a very red light.
5. la is the land of strip malls.
6. there is a 24 hour fitness on every corner.
7. everyone's car is shiny.
8. la has good food, and a lot of it.
9. you too can drive there yourself!
10. but if you get the chance, caravan with penny ... she turns into an la driver the moment you hit the county line.

observations about josh and naomi's wedding:
1. simple and subtle, just like naoms.
2. josh's parents are crazy fun.
3. of course it would be JOSH bawling like a girl at the end of the aisle.
4. wedding singers ARE fun.
5. mexican food is an excellent wedding food.
6. peter is not a deadbeat. not always, anyhow.
7. NO TULLE. amen!
8. lots of colors = lots of fun.
9. lots of friends = lots of fun.
10. white people weddings have spontaneous dancing. asian people don't dance ever.
11. always invite loc and christina. the most astonishing things come out of lockjaw's mouth.
12. naomi is so so beautiful. inside and out.
13. all right. josh isn't so bad either.
14. fewer details = more fun.
15. you can get plastic silverware that looks like silver!

really lovely wedding. they are such a neat couple. congratumalations! :)

and not so horrible being in la. couldn't wait to come home ... but all that time on the road by myself (coalinga is so foul every time) gave me a lot of time to think. reflect. guys -- i think i'm a hater. all negative vibeyness. i'm worried. more thoughts to come.
