garden update:

1. thank you to all who prayed for the tomatoes! the prayer of righteous people is AWESOME! they have survived the great purge akin to the stalinist purges of the late 30s. beria has nothing on my chopping abilities ... but the Lord is good. the russian spirit survives, and now the tomatoes are going BUCK WILD. all those who love tomatoes ... let me know, because there are SOME FOR YOU because i certainly won't eat them.

2. the peas are prolific! i can eat like one a day, and have some to share with karen and jenie. they are so yummy ... but the garden is now fast becoming a wilderness because all the peas are all over the carrots, which are stuck on the tomatoes ... when they say plant 3 feet apart ... they really mean it, guys.

3. the "many sons squash" plant from my grandma is in shock. pray for it. it doesn't like poor clay soil. it's stalled.

4. a few flowers are blooming. they are quite bitty ... but they're still cute. apparently flowers are not my thang. heezy no.

5. cowboy just sent me a gripload of new seeds: cucumbers, zucchini, pumpkins, and cornflowers. (she rocks!! and she's a genius.) and now i want to plant some more. BUT WHERE SHALL I PLANT THEM???? THERE IS NO MORE SPACE! ANYWHERE! how AWESOME would it be if there were pumpkins to be had in the fall??? jack-o-laterns for the next fall festival, but where will i plant them???? i feel a trip to walmart to buy more planters coming on ... and WHO'S GOING TO STOP ME???? YOU????

cute kid incident:
1. dawn and richard made chicken chow mein in fourth period and they shared with me. with a COKE. and a little note telling me that they love me. they are sweet.
